QUILT PROCESS/HOW TO ORDER

Not sure what to do next?  Here is the step by step process of how to order a custom quilt. 

STEP 1

First determine what your main priority for the quilt: design, budget or size. Then, look through all the quilting services and choose what kind of quilt you are interested.  Feel free to email me at jillbeansewing@gmail.com for further questions. 

STEP 2

Credit Card

Next, go to the Order button under the quilt type and purchase the DEPOSIT listing via Etsy ($85).  The DEPOSIT listing will secure your spot on my waiting list and pay for preparation materials.  Please do not add the Etsy Quilt Type listing to your cart.  This will be done in STEP 4. 

NOTE: For non-local customers, the deposit must be made via Etsy ONLY and clients pay for shipping of clothing items to me.

STEP 3

Third, clink on the CONSULTATION link to schedule. This consultation usually will take place within 2-8 weeks.  At the Quilt Consultation we will discuss design, t-shirts/clothing, style, fabrics, estimates, time frame, and any additional custom features, sign the contract.  After the consultation, I will send a confirmation email with all the details discussed.  This is when the customer looks over the details to make sure EVERYTHING is correct on the order form. 

STEP 4

Fourth, after the consultation I usually start working on your quilt within 2-4 months depending on the season. (Christmas and Graduation season it is 3-4 months)  I will send update emails when I start, finish the top design and quilt the layers together. 

STEP 5

Lastly, once the quilt is completed, I will take pictures, send a PayPal invoice and schedule a quilt pickup. 

FINAL PAYMENT

*If you are local, the total full quilt payment (via Etsy Listing, PayPal or Venmo) is due BY the pickup. 

*If you are not local, total payment (via Etsy or PayPal) is due BEFORE I ship the quilt.
